Ryan Mackintosh has announced his commitment to continue his education and bowling career at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. Ryan signed his letter of intent with Lindenwood Head Coach, Phil Vida. Ryan had a terrific senior season including an incredible series to help the Panthers win the IHSA Regional this winter. Mrs. William's class are studying dinosaurs and became paleontologist, digging for bones (chocolate chips)!

Industrial Arts students got to take a hands on field trip to Operating Engineers Local 520! These kids have what it takes and it's there if they want it!
Their top notch training center is located in St. Jacob, IL. Applications for apprenticeships opens on May 20!




JCHS Baseball, Softball and Boys Track and Field are canceled for today. Baseball and Softball are rescheduled for Monday, May 13th and the MVC Track Meet is rescheduled for Friday the 10th.

East Elementary students were chosen by their teachers and peers for showing great character. They were presented with a certificate for showing perseverance.

East Elementary concluded its spring clubs today. Students in Mrs. Margherio's art club learned about Claude Monet and created a replica of his windmill picture using chalk.

Congratulations to Jerseys newest strike out leader, Ashlyn Brown. Ashlyn just recorded her 399th career strike out! Brown surpasses 2004 graduate, Allison Baecht. Way to go, Ashlyn!

Lincoln Zibrida passed all of the Rainbow Math fluency addition and subtraction tests in 1st grade. He then took on multiplication and passed all tests through multiplication of 12!! Way to go Lincoln!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Mrs. Duggan's and Mrs. L. Heitzig's classes celebrated publishing their very own class book!

JCHS Athletics is excited to announce the Female Student Athlete of the Month for April, Emily Collins. Emily is the senior catcher on the Softball team. Collins has had an impressive spring. She is batting .436 with 3 doubles, 3 triples and 3 homeruns.
In MVC play, she is hitting .552 with 10 RBIs and 2 home runs. Most recently, Collins led the Panthers comeback in a 15-0 deficit by going 4-6 including a grand slam that sent the game into extra innings against Mascoutah. Congratulations and keep up the great work, Emily! Jersey 100 is proud of you!
