7th and 8th grade boys basketball team both take a win tonight against Lewis & Clark Elementary School- Wood River.

The dance team and cheer squad did a great job pumping up the crowd and cheering on the teams.
Mrs. Wittman’s 7th grade social studies class followed up their Bill of Rights unit with mock trails today.
JCHS Adobe Intern, Sophomore, Kayla Eilerman designed fifteen different monogram prints and sublimated them on zipper pouches. All money collected was donated back to JCHS Christmas for Kids.
She had $205 to donate to the cause.

She's in both Advanced Adobe and an Adobe Intern. Her work can be seen on many class windows and bulletin boards throughout our school. 💙

In a back and forth dual meet, the Panthers fell to the Triad Crusaders in their season opener. Great night of middle school wrestling!

The JCHS Boys and Girls Basketball teams competed last night. The Girls Varsity team defeated Calhoun at home while the Boys dropped a game on the road at Centralia. The JV Girls lost to Calhoun, while the Boys JV team beat Centralia on a last second three pointer!

Panther Kidz Club at JCMS participated in Stranger Danger this week with Mr. Ron Linenfelser (a certified black belt with Piasa Martial Arts). He taught self-defense techniques. The students learned so much and enjoyed learning these strategies.
Congratulations to Jaydon Busch and Connor Chin as they both placed at the CM Wrestling Tournament. Jaydon finished in 1st place at 285 and Connor finished 5th at 170. Congratulations guys and keep up the great Work

West Elementary Panther Kids Club students had a great time learning all about insects! Sara Marten with the University of Illinois Extension taught students all about insects and then our students got to build an edible insect!
