JCMS students in Ms. Meyers and Mrs. Mitchell's classes had the best day ever - they went to Fox Theater in St. Louis to view Aladdin! A great time was had by all!!
East Elementary second grade students did an excellent job at their music performance tonight.
The JCMS Blue Crew sponsored a PJs from Heaven fundraiser for Children's Hospital. Students brought in new pjs, coloring/activity books and crayon/markers. We had 415 total donations.

Last Friday, our incredible Life Skills class had the honor of ringing the Salvation Army bells at Walmart!

The JCHS Boys and Girls Bowling teams competed in the Southern Illinois Team Bowling Challenge on Saturday at Bel Air Bowl. The Girls finished 2nd in the silver division while the boys finished 4th in the gold division. Adam Kribs placed 2nd with a 1360 series, 227 average!
JCMS - Friday Electives
Mrs. Brady and Ms. Muenstermann's Friday Electives "Couch to 5k" class held their 5k race this week. Mr. Schroeder's "Jazz Band" class played to cheer on the runners. It was another great day to be a JCMS Panther!

"I love working at Dr. Houseman's dentist office and I have learned so much. Yesterday, I helped assist with a root canal and showed two kids how to floss their teeth. I also got the chance to learn how to take impressions and make a mold of someone's teeth, but only on a model to start out to show me how to do it. I got to bring the model home."
Haleigh Randolph is a JCHS Senior in Workforce Development Program who will aims to become a Dental Assistant.

Ms. Beauchamps class had a Christmas decorating party last Friday as a reward for filling the good behavior jar 5 times in November!! They dressed up, made ornaments, and turned themselves into elves!!
