Grafton Elementary teachers surprised students with a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving feast! Bread, jelly beans, pretzels, and popcorn after the movie. Thanks for the fun, teachers!

Students in Mr. Wyatt's Geography class at JCHS have been adding a delicious twist to their studies by celebrating the end of each unit with a themed food day. To conclude their unit on Europe, the class enjoyed "A Taste of Italy," featuring pizza, fettuccine alfredo, and Italian pizzelle cookies. The ambiance was enhanced with Italian music and a scenic Italian backdrop, making the experience both immersive and enjoyable. Geography truly comes to life in this class!

Students from the JCHS chapter of the National Honor Society recently participated in the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign by ringing bells at all four Jerseyville bell ringing locations for an entire day. This effort exemplifies one of the four pillars of NHS: service. The donations collected in the red kettle stay local, directly impacting the lives of our neighbors in need and providing critical support during challenging times. A meaningful difference is made with every ring, and their dedication resulted in a collection of over $2,300 in just one day.

Congratulations to Brenley Kelly and Kaden Strohbeck for being recognized as the Alton Road Runners Athletes of the Year!
