The Virtual Backpack is a convenient way to provide parents and students with important information and materials that would traditionally be sent home in a physical backpack. By hosting electronic versions of flyers, notes, and resources on the Jersey 100 website, parents and students can easily access and refer to these materials without the need for physical papers.
The organization of folders for each school allows parents and students to find the relevant information for their specific school quickly. Given that this is a new initiative, we will be adding information gradually as the school year progresses.
Check out the Virtual Backpack at https://www.jersey100.org/page/virtual-backpack
Due to current weather and road conditions, including icing, localized flooding, and fog, there will be no school today, Tuesday, January 23rd.
We expect conditions to get better throughout the day and this will give road commissioners an opportunity to improve the outlying road conditions for our 54 school bus routes. This will also give our maintenance crews the necessary time to prepare parking lots and sidewalks for the safe return of staff and students tomorrow.
We will continue to analyze all extra curricular activities, including practices and games, and will communicate potential cancellations or changes by 12:00 pm. Please check the Remind App and social media postings for further communication from coaches and sponsors.
