REMINDER: The Jersey Athletics Fall Sports Meeting is tonight at JCHS at 6pm. The following sports will have team meetings immediately following the general session: JCMS (Basketball & Cross Country) and JCHS (Cheer, Football, Girls Golf, Boys Soccer and Volleyball).

JCMS Softball tryouts begin tomorrow, 8am at the Varsity softball field at JCMS. If there is inclement weather, practice will move indoors in the main gym at JCHS.
Jersey CUSD No. 100 is hosting a Back to School Summer Library Program, "Empower Your Mind: Start the School Year with a Story," for East, West, and Grafton Elementary students from July 29th through August 8th. Please see the flyer for more details!

REMINDER...The 2024 Fall Sports Meeting will take place on Monday, July 29th, 6pm at JCHS. If your son or daughter is interested in a fall sport, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to attend. The sports physical clinic will be on July 30th at JCHS and will run from 8:30am-7:30pm.
📚✨ Today's Reading in the Park at the Fieldon Pavilion was fantastic! Mrs. Lynn Goetten wowed us with "Watermelon Madness" while the kids enjoyed fresh watermelon. Mrs. Kelly Miller brought in amazing 3D projects for our raffle. Mrs. Beth McGlasson from Jersey County Arts Council led the crafting of adorable watermelon fans. 🌞📚 What a beautiful morning at Grafton's Red Hawk Park! Our guest reader, Andy Prehn, read "This Book is on Fire."🔥 Andy, who studied pizza-making in Italy, had the kids mesmerized! The Jersey County Arts Council helped our little chefs decorate their own hats, and Mrs. Kelly Miller brought adorable 3D animals to give away. Curious George from the Jerseyville Public Library made a surprise visit, and Ms. Laurie handed out squeaky frogs! 🐸🎉 Thanks to everyone who made this day special! ❤️ #CommunityFun #ReadingFun #RedHawkPark

It was another busy week for Jersey Activities. The JCHS Band spent the week preparing for marching season. JCHS Football and Volleyball hosted their youth camps. The Marching Panthers sounded incredible! It was exciting to see the future of Jersey Football and Volleyball!

Yesterday's Reading in the Park was fantastic! Mr. Tim Harmon, a seasoned member of the Jerseyville fire department for a decade, read "Spark the Firefighter," shared essential fire safety tips, and showcased his firefighter gear. Clifford, the Big Red Dog from the Jerseyville Public Library, joined us, and Mrs. Droste from the Jersey County Arts Council guided everyone in creating fire-breathing dragons. We also held exciting raffles with prizes, including our read-aloud books, 3D-printed items by Kelly Miller, and gift certificates from Big Boy’s Donuts. Mark your calendars for July 10th at Red Hawk Park—we look forward to seeing everyone there!
