East Elementary concluded its spring clubs today. Students in Mrs. Margherio's art club learned about Claude Monet and created a replica of his windmill picture using chalk.
Congratulations to Jerseys newest strike out leader, Ashlyn Brown. Ashlyn just recorded her 399th career strike out! Brown surpasses 2004 graduate, Allison Baecht. Way to go, Ashlyn!

Lincoln Zibrida passed all of the Rainbow Math fluency addition and subtraction tests in 1st grade. He then took on multiplication and passed all tests through multiplication of 12!! Way to go Lincoln!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

JCHS Athletics is excited to announce the Female Student Athlete of the Month for April, Emily Collins. Emily is the senior catcher on the Softball team. Collins has had an impressive spring. She is batting .436 with 3 doubles, 3 triples and 3 homeruns.
In MVC play, she is hitting .552 with 10 RBIs and 2 home runs. Most recently, Collins led the Panthers comeback in a 15-0 deficit by going 4-6 including a grand slam that sent the game into extra innings against Mascoutah. Congratulations and keep up the great work, Emily! Jersey 100 is proud of you!
JCHS Athletics is excited to announce the Male Student Athlete of the Month, Zach Weiner. Zach is a senior on the Baseball team. Zach compiled a batting average of .397 and recorded 3 wins on the mound, including the Panthers win against Triad.

It has been a fun few weeks at East Elementary watching the cycle of a chick. Students enjoyed every step from monitoring the eggs, watching the chicks hatch and getting to hold them.
Today's JCHS Softball game has been moved up to 4pm. The Panthers are hosting the Marquette Explorers.
