She is pictured with her Back to School bulletin boards. She has also updated the design and printed and framed the update for our 2024 Illinois State Scholars. The final picture is her holding one of the homecoming tickets for this year. Kayla credits Corree Yates for the license plate idea, which Kayla was then able to turn into a design that can be seen on all 700 tickets. Thank you, Kayla, for sharing your talents with us.
Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. As a school community, we teach our students the importance of resilience, unity, and compassion—values that emerged so strongly in the aftermath of that tragic day. Let us continue to learn from our history, to stand together, and to nurture a future where kindness and understanding prevail. #NeverForget
