Grafton 4th grade students used their coding skills to program robots. The students have been studying angles in math and they were able to program the robots to follow the path they created using angle measures.

7th grade Panthers Volleyball falls to Roxana in the Bethalto regional quarterfinal. Great season girls!
The JCHS Jazz Band performed at "Jazz in the Meadows" - one of the largest Jazz gatherings in the Midwest. JCHS was judged 1st in its Class and was one of four groups (out of more than 50) invited back to play in the Grand Finale Concert.
The JCHS Boys Basketball Team beat Mascoutah on the road 66-51. The Panthers finish the regular season with a record of 19-12.

Mrs. Herkert's 5th grade students used their knowledge of the water cycle and how to separate salt from water to design a water collection system to get more water to a city. They designed and sketched out their system. After presenting and more discussion, the kids redesigned their system to make it better.
Due to improved weather conditions, the high school will be open this afternoon for high school practices. Students should confirm practice times with their coaches/directors. All other activities have been cancelled.
The Trap Shooting Club will have it's first meeting and sign-ups on Thursday night at 6:30 at the Alton Wood River Sportsmen's Club in the traphouse.

Hats off to JCHS Wrestlers Wyatt Daniels and Zeke Waltz for wrestling in the IHSA State competition. Zeke will wrestle for 1st Place Class 2A this evening at the State Farm Center in Champagne. State Championship matches start tonight at 5:30.
