JCMS - PJs from Heaven: Through the leadership of social worker Mr. Nate Blasa, students at JCMS have been collecting pajamas, blankets, and supplies for children affected by cancer. Mrs. Leslie’s 5th grade class donated the most items (46) along with many others who showed love and support. We are very proud of our generous students!

JCHS teacher Mrs. Heitzig challenged her Design Interns last week to individually raise $200 by using classroom resources to help provide funds for Christmas gifts for our JCHS students who would otherwise go without. Annie Walker and Elizabeth Stidd exceeded the challenge goals. When it's all said and done, Annie will have raised well over $500. While quarantined, Elizabeth still managed to exceed her $200 goal by using her resources from home. We are very proud of these girls and all the students who participated for their hard work and caring spirit!
West Elementary students got a window visit from a very special Grinch today--it was was so much fun today!

It was Christmas STEM Challenge this week in Mrs. Noble’s class. Students created LEGO ornaments, Santa’s sleigh, and a house with a chimney. They also engineered Christmas trees from spice drops and created stories from their green screen images.
JCMS students are holding their annual can drive for the local food pantry. So far they have donated over 700 cans. Way to go students.
Students in Mrs. Pranger’s 6th grade Stem class at JCMS are creating Stop Animation projects using Google Slides to design and Screencastify to record their animated videos!
