The middle school girls basketball teams gave a great effort in their first home game of the season against Triad.






Kindergarten celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday this week. After reading his story they enjoyed making homemade applesauce, hats and sorted leaves into Fall colors.


It's "Game On" day at Grafton Elementary and several students wore their favorite sports team gear to show their school spirit! It's a wonderful day to be a Grafton Panther!


Students in Ms. Herkert's 5th grade class were thinkers and problem solvers as they collaborated with groups to solve multi-step word problems.





Grafton Elementary students had a blast with Spirit Week's "Blast from the Past" theme! From hippies to disco dancers, students showed their school spirit in creative outfits.

“Every canvas is a journey all its own.” (Helen Frankenthaler) Mrs. Sharrow is spreading the joy of painting in her Acrylic Painting electives class at JCMS. Students began working on their first landscape masterpiece.


5th grade teachers attended the Water Festival Training for their upcoming field trip. They learned hands-on science activities that they can do with their students in the classroom.

Mrs. Margherio's and Miss Hansen's 4th grade math classes are using math groups at the beginning of every math class to create a thinking classroom. During group time, the students are given a problem they have to work together to solve. The students and teachers are loving this new addition to our math classes.


On Friday, Sept 23rd, under the guidance of their teacher, Cara Rojas, several Spanish students at JCHS traveled to the Hispanic Festival in Soulard. There, they learned traditional Hispanic dances, participated in arts and crafts, savored cuisine from various Spanish-speaking countries, and engaged in Spanish conversations with vendors and fellow visitors. It was an incredible experience, perfectly timed to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month! #HispanicHeritageMonth #CulturalExperience




Mrs. Goetten’s students are working on becoming authors and illustrators by creating an ABC book.

JCHS 8th graders get to be a part of 8th Grade Jazz Band this year.
This group gets to meet during 6th hour lunch and work with Mrs. Bittles and older Jazz Band students.
