Today was an exciting day for Ashlyn Brown and her family as they announce Ashlyn's commitment to continue her education and softball career at Kaskaskia College. Brown is coming off of a stellar junior season where she was named to the MVC All Conference Team as well as earning 3rd Team ICA All State Honors. Ashlyn recorded 154 strikeouts and had a 2.55 era while compiling a .372 average at the plate producing 26 RBI's and 4 home runs. Kaskaskia is located in Centralia, IL and competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association. The Blue Angels are coached by John Barnes. KC was crowned the NJCAA Region XXIV Champions last season. We're proud of your hard work and dedication, Ashlyn. Congratulations and good luck at KC!

Mrs. M. Heitzig and Mrs. Green's students were able to google meet with Chief Warrant Officer Aaron Wunderlin stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso Texas. Aaron is a Chinook pilot and just returned home from his tour in Powidz, Poland. The students got to see the inside of a Chinook and learn some of the ways they use the helicopter. The students asked questions and thanked Aaron for his service.
