Slime, art, and animal encounters - oh my! Grafton's STEAM Night was a ROARING success!
Ms. Galena's Child Development class visited Ms. Anderson and Ms. Eickoff's West PM Pre-K class on Friday, April 5th. The JCHS students gifted the Pre-K class a set of books and "stuffies" about emotions. ❤️ The JCHS students got to see first hand how children at this age level play and learn. It was a learning opportunity for all and an excellent experience!
45 JCHS Spanish students attended Beísbol in the Classroom today at Busch Stadium. Students participated in a Spanish/English “class” with Cardinals Spanish broadcasters Bengie Molina and Polo Ascencio. It was a cold, rainy event and game but these Panther students made the best of the day!
JCHS SOFTBALL LOCATION CHANGE!
Due to unplayable field conditions in Highland, today's JCHS Softball game has been moved to Jerseyville. First pitch is 4:30pm.
Freshman Baseball @ Highland has been canceled due to unplayable field conditions.
JCHS students and teachers enjoyed viewing the solar eclipse on Monday afternoon. It even got dark enough for the streetlights to come on, and the temperature dropped significantly! Many students also received a moon pie from the JCHS library for participating in an eclipse escape room activity in the weeks leading up to the eclipse. A huge thanks to our generous donors for providing the eclipse viewing glasses.
Eclipsing the ordinary! Grafton students got to peek at the eclipse with their special shades!
JCMS had a fun and successful solar eclipse viewing party today!!
Our Panther Kidz Club after-school program had a blast on their year-end field trip to the bowling alley! Check out the fun they had! 🎳 #PantherKidzClub #FieldTripFun

Dave and Rachel Brantley gave Kindergarten a presentation on bees. They own Sweet Acres Honey in Brighton, IL. They showed the kids a live hive and they had a queen bee. All the kids were able to try a bite of honey also!
The Virtual Backpack is a convenient way to provide parents and students with important information and materials that would traditionally be sent home in a physical backpack. By hosting electronic versions of flyers, notes, and resources on the Jersey 100 website, parents and students can easily access and refer to these materials without the need for physical papers.
The organization of folders for each school allows parents and students to find the relevant information for their specific school quickly. Given that this is a new initiative, we will be adding information gradually as the school year progresses.
Check out the Virtual Backpack at https://www.jersey100.org/page/virtual-backpack
