
Our first graders were apple-solutely delighted on their field trip to Eckerts!







JCHS Advanced Design learned to follow intricate patterns to create stuffed bears, bunnies, and elephants on three sewing machine!


JCHS Design students used their first crochet square assignment as inspiration for the Jersey County Arts Council Scarecrow Competition. Jada, Natalie, and Emily volunteered to assemble the (not so scary) scarecrow which landed them 1st place!
Scarecrows are on display next to Germania and will eventually be moved to State Street.


These 8th graders are taking flight! In Mrs. Nichols' Ag/Wood class, they're learning the ins and outs of drone programming. By mastering flight paths, measurements, and more, they're gaining valuable skills that could launch them into exciting drone-related careers.

The JCHS Cheer team and the JCHS Band performed at East School this morning for a pep rally! The little Panthers were excited to welcome our JCHS students to pump them up for Homecoming!



Week 5 GAMEDAY!!!!!! JCHS Football hosts conference foe, Triad, for the Homecoming game. Homecoming Festivities will begin at 6:35 with the introduction of Homecoming Spirts.
Kickoff is 7pm.

Homecoming Parade 2024
JCHS is bursting with Panther Pride this week! Homecoming is a special tradition in Jersey that connects our current students with their community and the Panthers who have come before them! In celebration, our students have enjoyed dodgeball and kickball tournaments, bonfire, karaoke, parade, and much more. Thank you to all Panther fans who made it out to the parade today! We hope to see you Friday night as the 2024 Homecoming Spirit is revealed and our Panthers look to take down Triad on the gridiron!

Congratulations to Michael Roberts who finished 7th overall at the MVC Boys Golf Tournament. Roberts shot a 79 on the day. The Panthers improved their overall finish from last year and finished in 4th ahead of CM and Triad. Congratulations!

Homecoming Parade - Revised Plan
Due to the predicted weather forecast on Friday, the JCHS Homecoming Parade is being moved to Thursday 9/26 at 1:00 pm. The parade will follow the same route on State Street from JCHS to Arch.
There are other minor changes for JCHS students, please see the attached flyer for all updates.
We hope these changes will provide our students and community with a fun and enjoyable homecoming experience!

Jersey 100 is sending out another reminder that the city of Jerseyville is under a boiler order. If you have an extra bottle of water at home, please send it with your student. The District was able to get some water bottles and they are being delivered this morning to schools.
