This Week in Jersey Activities

East Picture Day is Thursday, October 9th. Below is online ordering information. A hard copy of this document will be sent home with students. An order form will also be sent home next week if you would rather not order online.

Senior Adobe Intern Abby Chin stands in front of her Teacher Advice bulletin board at JCHS. Mrs. Brown asked teachers to share a high school picture of themselves with a little advice. This information was then passed along to Abby, who made the display that currently hangs in the 8th-grade hallway. Thank you, Abby

JCHS Volleyball had another good tournament showing. The Panthers took 2nd place at the Granite City Tournament. Grace Russell earned a spot on the All-Tournament team!

JCHS Spanish class students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring and sampling food, dance and artisan crafts from Mexico, Panama, Honduras, Peru, Argentina and many other countries at the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival at Soulard Park on Friday, September 19, 2025. Students completed a mission-based scavenger hunt that required them to use their Spanish communication skills and creativity to compete for churros and bragging rights!

JCHS Class of 1965
Members of the class are celebrating their 60th reunion this weekend. They kicked off the fun with a tour of JCHS from Principal Thomas Leslie. They were amazed at the beautiful facilities and programs that are offered to our students. They also commented that our students are very hard-working and respectful!
