JCHS hosted the Girls MVC Track & Field meet last night, and the Panthers climbed to 4th place. Congrats to Amelia Strebel, Abbi Benz, Brenley Kelly, Morgan Allen, Julia West, Madisyn Burch & Belle Peuterbaugh for placing top 3 in their events!

Jersey Panthers Baseball played the Greenfield Tigers at Busch Stadium! Our community showed up in full support and the Panthers were victorious 7-3. Every player had the opportunity to take the field. It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Jersey Panther!

Grafton Elementary -- On Tuesday, May 6th, Grafton 3rd and 4th grade students got to zoom with Lauren Tarshis. She answered questions for 1/2 hour and told the kids what the next book will be.
Jersey #100 staff members had an exciting experience exploring the incredible range of careers available in the aviation industry. From witnessing airplane modifications and aircraft painting in action to getting hands-on with rivet making in metal, crafting custom seat covers through sewing, and even taking to the skies for a flight, this PD was truly immersive and unforgettable. Dr. Kate Sievers, Bethany Wittman, Madison Cumberland, and Sarah Harlan left with a wealth of innovative ideas to tie STEM concepts directly into our classrooms, sparking our students' curiosity and showing them the real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math. Thank you again to ROE 40, Kelly Remijan (ROE40 STEM Initiatives) & Kerry Lorton (Central Illinois Rural CTE Region) for organizing such an inspiring and educational opportunity!

JCMS student council students cleaned up the bike trail in Grafton today. They also got to help the Pre-K and K students fish (as they were also visiting).
JCMS 6th grade students explored the Melvin Price Lock and Dam as well as The Audubon Wetlands today. Students had many stations, including how the lock and dam works, macro-netting, bird watching, and nature journaling. Thanks for making it a great day.
