Jersey 100 Families,
First, the the transportation department would like to apologise for any confusion we may have caused as we get ready to begin school tomorrow, Wednesday, August 14. The department is implementing new software this year and we are experiencing a few glitches. In short, our new transportation software must communicate with Skyward. While we still have a few items to iron out, we believe we are in a good spot and will be much better in the very near future.
The district ran its latest update at 5:00 pm this afternoon. Most of you will not notice any changes, but there may be a few so I ask that you please check your Skyward Family page to make sure.
In addition, please give your students bus a 10 to 15 minute grace period before and after the scheduled pick up and drop off times. Like always, times may vary a little over the first week, but should settle in very soon. If you need help finding your students bus times, there is a picture attached to this message.
Again, we sincerely apologise for any confusion the transportation department has caused. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call.
Hey, Jersey 100! Are you ready? Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 14th, marks the first day of school for grades 1st through 12th, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back! Some incredible motivational speakers have pumped up our amazing faculty and staff. And guess what? In Jersey 100, not all superheroes wear capes! 💥 Let’s make this year amazing! #BackToSchool #Jersey100Superheroes
Jersey 100 Families. The transportation department is communicating the best way for parents to see what time, location, and bus number their student will be picked up in the morning and dropped off in the afternoon. We have uploaded a picture detailing the steps to access this information. For those of you that have the Jersey 100 App, there is a busing tab there as well. Please remember that our bus routes may be delayed the first few days. Thank you for your patience and if you need help, please reach out. If someone in the department does not answer your call, we will get back with you as soon as possible.
Jersey 100 Families. The Transportation Department is currently finishing bus routes for the upcoming school year. At this time, if you haven't previously indicated that your student needs busing to and from school, your student will not be on a bus list to begin the year. We will begin new transportation request later this week.
To find out what bus number and pickup and drop off times for your student, please go to your Skyward family page and click the busing tab on the left. Please remember to check again tomorrow for any updates that could be made. If you have questions, we ask that you email laury.capps@jersey100.org instead of calling the depot at this time.
Thank you for your patience and we look forward to another great school year.
JCHS had an incredible day welcoming our incoming 8th graders in a brand new orientation called "Link Crew!" Throughout the week, School Counselors Mrs. Waymire, Mrs. Fry, and Mrs. Faye-Skinner trained our junior/senior leaders to welcome our 8th grade students today. From 8 am to 12 pm, the students participated in fun activities, tours, and built connections with the leaders of JCHS. Everyone had a blast and our 8th graders are excited to start their year! A HUGE thank you to all who made this amazing event so special!
