JCMS One Book, One School
We are excited to announce the continuation of our One Book, One School program this year with Mustaches for Maddie by Chad Morris and Shelly Brown! Video clues were released throughout the week and 63 students submitted winning guesses! Today, every student received their own copy of the book, which will be read by all students and staff throughout 2nd quarter. On December 9th, Chad and Shelly will travel from Salt Lake City, Utah to JCMS to speak with our students and sign their books! We have many fun surprises to come, but it is safe to say - JCMS will be thoroughly mustachioed! This will be an amazing experience for all to foster a love for reading and kindness for others!

Mustaches for Maddie
A funny, inspiring story about when life's raindrops fall. Based on a true story.
Maddie has a quirky sense of humor and a fondness for sporting fake mustaches, the more outrageous-looking, the better. Her world is turned upside down when she's diagnosed with a brain tumor. Readers will take the journey with her as she battles her illness and encounters the usual obstacles of growing up by using her imagination to conquer her fears, her humor to stay optimistic, and compassion to stay connected to others in a meaningful way. Innocently and unknowingly, her example encourages those around her.
