The JCHS Female Student Athlete of the Month for October is Tessa Crawford.
The month of October was historic for JCHS Girls Tennis. As a team, the Panthers were MVC Champions and Sectional Champions. Tessa won her singles flight at the MVC Tournament and she and Elise Noble won the #1 doubles flight at the MVC Tournament. Later in the month, the Panthers won the program's first team Sectional Championship. Tessa and Elise were the #1 doubles Sectional Champions. They qualified for the IHSA State Tournament and finished as one of the top 12 doubles teams earning them IHSA 2nd Team All State honors.
