Jersey CUSD 100 Transportation Department

Jersey Community Unit School District No. 100 is located in southwestern central Illinois in Jersey County, Illinois. It is approximately 50 miles north of the City of St. Louis, Missouri, and 75 miles southwest of the City of Springfield, Illinois, and is bordered on the west by the Illinois River and on the south by the Mississippi River. 

A large unit district comprised of all elementary and secondary grade levels (pre‑K to 12), with three elementary schools, one middle school (5, 6 and 7) and one high school (8 to 12), Jersey 100 covers an area of approximately 332 square miles, the fourth largest busing district in Illinois. Our bus fleet travels over 3700 miles per day.

We currently run 27 large bus routes in the morning and afternoon transporting between 1150 and 1300 students daily.  Included in this data are students from our local parochial schools. Jersey 100 also provides transportation for some of our special education and pre-kindergarten students.
